I've recently watched the movie, Nights in Rodanthe with Richard Gere and Diane Lane. I really enjoyed it, probably more than I liked the book. Probably because of the cast. I like them. I love movies that challenge me to think about my relationships with others and how I view myself. It was intersting for this guy, who was working so hard at being the best doctor he could be that he didn't know how to simply acknowledge this guy's sorrow, whose wife he had operated on, when that's all the guy needed. I have learned that, as a teacher. A lot of time, parents don't want a complicated explanation about thier child's learning issues, but a fellow mother and parent to acknowledge that it's tough sometimes, being a parent, and I'm not alone.
Did anyone else see this movie and what'd you think about it?
